Important information about the 2017 show.

  1. The 2017 dates are May 30th – June 2nd.
  2. The organisers would like to stress that the duration of the show is four days and exhibitors are encouraged to schedule appointments for each of the four days in order to accommodate the maximum number of appointments. Any exhibitor who has already set over the weekend is free to schedule appointments for Monday May 29th.
  3. Applications are now invited for a very limited number of “standard” showrooms. Send them to David Potter ( david@distoy.com) and they will be processed on a “first come , first served” basis. A “standard” showroom in this context will mean either a function room or bedroom adapted to accommodate a product display. Trestle tables are placed around the perimeter of the room and covered with white linen ( see diagram below of a typical showroom). Exhibitors may, of course, provide their own display system but it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to erect, dismantle and pack any such equipment.
  4. The show venues are again the St James’ Court Hotel in Buckingham Gate and the St Ermin’s Hotel in nearby Caxton Street. Both hotels are ready to take reservations for bedroom accommodation and the 2016 rates will be maintained for 2017, as will the exhibitor registration fee itself.
  5. Both hotels have agreed to maintain this year’s bedroom rates for 2017 and can take reservations immediately. Contact details for the hotels can be found on the Venues page and can be contacted direct but Distoy offers a hotel reservation service and would be pleased to process your bedroom accommodation enquiries – just send an email to Madeleine Potter ( madpot@distoy.com) and provide her with arrival and departure dates & credit card details against which your booking can be guaranteed. If you prefer to deal direct please be sure to specify the Distoy special rate.
  6. It’s important for all exhibitors who wish to re-book their 2016 showrooms to complete the registration process and pay the fee by the end of January 2017. That way their showroom is guaranteed and we can assess which, if any, rooms are available to offer wait-listed companies or new applicants.
